The Achuete Powder ( Annatto Powder) is extracted from the powdery coating of annatto (Achuete/Achiote) seeds. The Annatto powder imparts a mildly sweet flavor and an appetizing color ranging from yellow-orange to red-orange (depending on the quantity used) in a variety of dishes.
